Starling Marte’s Steaming Dance With His Wife At Their Wedding Stole The Show

In recent videos, Starling Marte published on his Instagram Story, the New York Mets outfielder and his fiancée, Elianny Santana, were seen bumping and grinding on the dance floor in their native Dominican Republic after they tied the wedding.

At the event, which was held at the El Embajador, a Royal Hideaway Hotel in Santo Domingo, Marte knelt down and shook his hips while Santana wrapped her arms around his neck.

The guests around him applauded as the 35-year-old Marte then lifted up his shirt.

Marte and Santana, who announced their engagement in August, kissed in a picture that with the message, “Mi amarro.”

A band and several other musicians, dancers, and performers from the reception were shown in other videos.

After witnessing Marte’s dance talents, some MLB fans made jokes about how his groin seemed to recover.

Marte was sidelined with a groin strain at the close of the season, but Mike Puma of The Post reported last month that he won’t require groin surgery in the offseason.

A conga line and limbo were led by the duo, who were seen dancing together as white confetti dropped from the roof.

Pink and white flowers as well as strobe lights were used at the reception.

As accessories for the event, guests were also handed glow sticks, caps, and masks.

Coworker Based on images posted on social media, Dominican outfielder Gregory Polanco, who presently plays for the Chiba Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball, attended the wedding with his partner.

A KBO League outfielder named Mel Rojas Jr. was also present, representing the KT Wiz.

August 2023 was when Marte told Santana he was engaged.

Including a picture of her gorgeous oval-cut diamond ring, he remarked at the time, “She said yes,” on Instagram.

It occurred around three years after Marte declared on social media that his wife Noelia Brazoban, who was 32 at the time, had passed away in May 2020 from a heart attack.

Sons Smerling and Starling Jr. and daughter Tiana were their three children together.

According to MLB.com, Marte met Brazoban while growing up in Villa Mella, which is a part of the larger Santo Domingo metropolitan region.

Marte was selected to the National League All-Star team in 2015 and 2016, and he won back-to-back Gold Gloves in both of those seasons.
